What else should I know?

All of our tint options can be as dark or as light as you would like them. The darkness of the film you select equates to the amount of privacy and light emission. The type of film you select equates to the amount of heat and UV rejection.

• DIFFERENCES
Standard film provides 50% heat rejection. Ceramic film provides 85% heat rejection. Premium film provides 95% heat rejection.

• FLORIDA TINT LAWS 2023
For windshields, NO tint is legal. For front windows, tints must be 30% or lighter. For rear windows, tints must be 15% or lighter.

• COLOR GRADING FOR SIDE & REAR WINDOWS
A 5% tint is dark, like you see on the passenger windows of limos.
A 15% tint is medium, and is the most preferred degree of tint.
A 30% tint is light, and is the “legal limit.”
A 50% tint is almost clear, and is legal.
A 70% tint is clear, and is legal.
• COLOR GRADING FOR WINDSHIELDS
A 30% tint is dark.
A 50% tint is medium, and is the most preferred degree of tint for windshields.
A 70% tint is light.

• WARRANTY
Our Pinnacle and Stratos films come with a lifetime warranty. We will replace it for free in the event of bubbling, delaminating, or distortion. Our ATR film has no warranty.

• FINALLY…
The number 1 complaint we have is that the customer didn’t go dark enough. This is the sunshine state, it’s hot and bright. If you need a doctor’s note for your windshield or for a darker-than-legal tint, we suggest you see your dermatologist or optometrist.

Window tinting takes 1 to 2 days, depending on options. All tint installs require 3 days of drying/curing. DO NOT roll your windows down for 3 days after installation to assure complete curing and proper adhesion of the film.
