This beautiful truck came from Clearwater, FL to our shop in Palm Harbor, FL for Paint Correction, Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Window Tint and Ceramic Coating.
While this is absolutely beautiful and a monster at 775 horsepower it was amazingly difficult to work on.
The front end of this truck has so many concave and convex planes of surface. This makes installing a 2 dimensional Paint Protection film very hard and time consuming.
Wrapping the front end of this vehicle is on the advanced side of installs. Thankfully we use STEK Paint Protection Film which has great stretchability. Making complex Clear Bra installs like this one far more manageable.
Our computer cut software allows for amazing edge alignment of the pre cut and modified patterns.
Eastman created an amazing software that pre cuts the film so we don’t have to hand cut on the car. Essentially lowering our risk for damage 10 fold.
The dealership installed a sun par Window Tint Film that didn’t perform to the expectations of the owner. So we removed and replaced the film with our Premium Ceramic Window Film from Eastman Aka Llumar branded as Formula One Stratos which rejects 95% of the heat.
The Paint Protection Film install required the most labor. But our amazing certified paint protection film installer worked his magic and made light work of it.
Followed by that the Paint Correction Process took the second longest. We require 17.5 hours of buffing time to assure all swirling is removed prior to applying a Ceramic Coating.
Finally we applied a Ceramic Coating to the windshield to repel rain, paint to repel dirt and stains and wheels to repel brake dust.
All in all this truck is nice, came out beautiful and I’m sure the owner will have a blast ripping 775 horsepower around town while maintaining a spotless / flawless looking vehicle.
