The new body style on the BMW M8’s are absolutely aggressive. This particular one came from Palm Harbor, FL to our shop for Paint Protection Film, Windshield Protection Film, Premium Ceramic Window Tint and Ceramic Coating.
The aggressive front and rear end of the vehicle made for a challenging seamless PPF install. But we managed to knock it out of the park.
BMW’s are known to have soft glass, so the client opted for Windshield Protection Film to prevent chips and spider cracks in the glass.
As per usual the dealership installed sub par Window Tint so we replaced it with our Premium Ceramic Tint manufactured by Llumar branded as Formula One Stratos rejecting 95% of the heat. The dot matrix on the sides of the glass are interesting. We haven’t encountered many cars with that in the past.
Of course no full blown Paint Protection on a car is complete without a Ceramic Coating. Our 5 year Ceramic Coating really made this dark blue look wet. The Coating on the wheels helps big time with BMW M brake pads / calipers which typically make an absolute mess.
